The acacia wood grain looks really nice on the counter and it's held up well after a month of daily chopping, plus the antimicrobial surface is a good selling point for me. Only gripe is that the 2cm thickness makes it a bit heavier to move around than I'd like, but it's sturdy and knife-friendly.
