The slots are spaced perfectly so my thicker chef's knife doesn't scrape against the next one. It feels solid on the counter and the bamboo matches my cutting boards nicely.

I was pleasantly surprised by how well the bamboo finish matches my other countertops, and the individual slots keep each knife separated so nothing gets scratched.

This knife block holds all 20 knives without them touching, which keeps my blades in better shape. The only slight downside is the bamboo scratches a bit easily if you’re not careful. It’s a solid, practical upgrade from my old magnetic strip.
