The 2.5mm gauge gives these knives a real heft that feels substantial in hand, and the mirror finish picks up the light beautifully across the table. They've held their shine through a few washes already, which is more than I can say for other sets I've owned.

The mirror polish is stunning out of the box, and the 18/10 steel feels properly hefty without being clumsy. These have quickly become my go-to for dinner parties, they really do have that timeless, understated elegance about them.
